It's not just depth perception; it's that my spatial perception is screwy in general-- there have been times when I misidentified which <em>lane</em> a car was in. And that's ignoring the tendency to space out when there's too much visual info to deal with... I actually *have* considered that– but with the way people drive around here, I don’t know whether I’d be even remotely safe taking it out on the road.
